Guided fishing trips and boat rental
Last updated: 28 September 2026. This version applies to bookings made from that date.
Booking
To confirm a fishing trip or boat rental, you need to pay a deposit of 40% of the total price (minimum €100).
Paying the deposit implies full acceptance of these terms.
Remaining balance
The outstanding amount must be paid on the day of the activity, before boarding, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations by the customer
These terms also apply when the customer decides not to go out because of the weather forecast, unless they have purchased the Weather Guarantee.
Cancellations by DivaTeamFishing
If the trip cannot go ahead due to adverse weather conditions, safety reasons o the skipper's decision, the customer will be offered, at their choice:
The assessment of weather and safety conditions is the responsibility of the skipper alone.
Weather Guarantee
When booking online, the customer can purchase the Weather Guarantee for 3% of the total price of the activity.
With the Weather Guarantee, if the customer considers that the weather forecast is not favourable, they can change the date of the trip even if the skipper considers that it can go ahead safely, as long as they notify us in writing (WhatsApp or email) up to 24 hours before the departure time.
The new date will be agreed between the customer and DivaTeamFishing, depending on both parties' availability; the customer cannot set it on their own. DivaTeamFishing will offer the customer the available dates within that period. If the date change is not used within that year, the deposit will not be refundable.
The Weather Guarantee does not include a refund of the deposit. It can only be purchased at the time of booking and its amount is non-refundable.
Force majeure
If the activity cannot take place due to force majeure (for example, port closure, official restrictions or other circumstances beyond the company's control), the deposit will be refunded or a new date will be offered, by mutual agreement.
Customer responsibility
- The customer must arrive at the place and time indicated.
- A delay of more than 30 minutes may be considered a no-show, without the right to a refund.
- The customer agrees to respect the safety rules, the skipper's instructions and the rules of conduct on board.
Liability and equipment
- The company is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings during the activity.
- Any damage caused to the boat or equipment through misuse or negligence will be the customer's responsibility.
