The Costa Brava is one of the best sport fishing destinations in the Mediterranean: clear water, rocky bottoms close to the coast and deep areas just a few miles from Palamós. That's why you can fish for all kinds of species here all year round, from squid and inshore species to big bluefin tuna.
At Divateam Fishing we run boat fishing trips with a skipper for all levels: experienced anglers looking for a Big Game fight, groups of friends wanting a day of jigging and spinning, or families getting started with the little ones. Our skippers know every spot in the area and teach you the technique on every trip.
Depending on the trip and the season, we go trolling, spinning, popping, jigging and light jigging, and fish with live bait, on the bottom and deep drop with electric reels, and also for squid. In Big Game we chum the area with sardines and use stand-up gear to fight big tuna safely.
We also have boat rental in Palamós to discover coves at your own pace, and sport fishing courses to improve your technique.
Our private trips cost from €390 (squid fishing, 3 hours, up to 4 people) to €1,090 (Big Game, 7 hours, up to 5 people). Prices are per boat and include skipper, fuel, licences, bait, tackle and drinks. If you're coming alone, the shared charter costs €180 per person for tuna spinning and €299 for Big Game.
No. Fishing licences are included and no experience is needed: the skipper explains the technique on every trip. If it's your first time, we recommend Family Fishing, squid fishing or inshore fishing.
Up to 5 people on most trips and up to 4 on squid fishing. If you're coming alone, you can book a seat on the shared tuna spinning or Big Game charter.
Yes. Family Fishing is designed for families: 3 hours with plenty of bites, learning from scratch and suitable for all ages.
Tuna spinning and popping peak in spring (March and April), when the tuna feed at the surface under the birds. Big Game is at its best in May, July and August, with a mid season in March, April and June.
Safety comes first: the skipper assesses the conditions and, if the trip is cancelled, you can choose between a new date or a full refund of your deposit. When booking online you can also add the Weather Guarantee to change the date if you don't like the forecast. You'll find all the details in our booking and cancellation policy.
All trips depart from Port Marina de Palamós (Girona). The schedule is agreed with the skipper depending on the type of trip and the season; squid fishing runs from 18:00 to 21:00.
